Board of Water Supply. City Water Tunnel No. 1. Delivery of a 19-ton, 66-inch bronze section valve to be used as part of the tunnel under Central Park, allowing it to be divided into two sections so that one can be unwatered while the other remains in service. The horse-drawn truck is at the West 37th Street Pennsylvania Railroad freight yard. May 4, 1914.
