After 25 Years, New York World-Telegram, May 26, 1946 Article from the New York World-Telegram about Poy Gum Lee's return to Pratt from Shanghai after 25 years to complete his degree. Caption: Poy Gum Lee (above) has received his bachelor of architecture degree from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, after a quarter of a century. He began his studies at Pratt 25 years ago, studied three years from 1919 to 1921, and went back to his home in Shanghai. he returned to Pratt this years with this wife and daughter and all three were enrolled, Mrs. Lee in the English department and Arlene, the daughter, in the School of home Economics. Mr. Lee plans to go back to China, where he heads his own architectural firm, after his wife and daughter complete their studies.
