Feast of Saint Anthony of Padua.
Feast of St. Anthony of Padua, 1927, No. 4. A close view of the front of the tower as it is carried across First Avenue. Notice the number of men it takes to support it. Musicians are seated at the base of the tower in front of the statue
of St. Anthony.

No. 5. Shrine to St. Anthony on First Avenue near 106th Street. Candles burn before the statue, and two votive images of wax, representing legs, are hung, one on either side of the statue. A small floral boat, flying the American and the Italian flags, may be seen on the right; and the usual offerings of
paper money are pinned to St. Anthony's robe.
