[Tracks leading to Corona Yards, Queens, NY]

Looking east along the tracks of the new IRT Corona (now Flushing) Line extension to Main Street, Queens, NY. from a point over Roosevelt Avenue and the future Grand Central Parkway Extension. Tracks on right lead to the Corona Rail Yards. The tiny 2 side platform Willets Point Blvd station is accessed at 126 Street in the distance, about 3 blocks east of the current station which was built in 1938 for the 1939 World's Fair. The ramp to Flushing Meadows Park spanning a parking lot and the Casey Stengel Bus Garage will eventually all be built on the field with the one house to the right. The house is on a dirt road projection of 41 Avenue around 123 Street which was never opened.
