preparatory to the demolition of same.

Another view of the same location photographed in a southwesterly direction from the N.E. corner of this point showing the last train on its northward trip rounding the bend. Across same appear buildings at the N.W. corner of 52nd Street which are to be demolished and their site improved with a modern apartment house. This is the first extensive improvement on this thoroughfare resulting from the "El" demolition.
