Newtown - Springsteen House - Rego Park Springsteen House - (built 1859), being renovated. Located on the north side of White Pot Road (now Fleet St., 66th Ave.), partly in the roadbed of present Alderton St. on NE corner. View shows west side of house. Michael Stryker Springsteen (1804-1886), Husband of Alletta B. Duryea and Father of David, built the house. David Springsteen inherited and in 1888 and married Annie W. Montfort of Brooklyn. Michael Springsteen House

Newtown - Springsteen House - Rego Park Springsteen House - North side of White Pot Road (now Fleet St., 66th Ave.), partly in the bed of Alderton St. and partly on the NE corner. Michael Stryker Springsteen built the home in 1859, he died in 1886. His son David then inherited the home, David died about 1912. David Springsteen's widow (Anne W. Montfort) sold it in 1928.
