Manhattan: 7th Avenue - 41st Street (West)

Seventh Avenue, north from W. 41st Street, towards Times Scquare. North of 42nd Street this thoroughfare loses it's identity, becomming a portion of Times 3Quare: the buildings on all sides bearing Broadway addresses. The Paramount Building which is prominently shown is an outstanding example of that practice. Note the Hotel Hermitage at the left margin. This atructure adjoins the low building at the S.W. corner of 42nd Street. On the opposite corner (N.W.) is the Rialto Theatre. This is s oon to be renovated and will present a different external app6arance..
