Naval Lyceum and Commandant's office

Image represented is one of a related set (NEIG 2137), some of which may also be described in this new record; Two renderings, in different sizes, of a three-story, masonry building at the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Originally the Brooklyn Naval Lyceum (2142) which disbanded in 1888, it presumably later became the Commandant's office (2137). 2137 includes Commandant's residence partially visible in left background and 2142, not dated, includes five soldiers and horse-drawn carriage in foreground.
