Manhattan: Park Avenue - 48th Street (East)

Park Avenue, east side, from E. 48th (right) to 49th (left) Streets, showing the newly completed Park Lane Apartment Hotel on what twenty years prior was the Adams Express Company Building site. The architects are Shulte and Weaver. Note at the left margin the Railroad Y.M.C.A. at the N.E. corner of 49th Street. Ten years later this will be razed for the block square site of the Waldorf Astoria
Hotel.
