Manhattan: Weehawken Street - Christopher Street

Weehawken Street, west side, between Christopher and West 10th Street, showing the rear of the building bearing No. 393 West Street. This is popularly supposed to be the oldest structure in Manhattan. It rests on the site of the Weehawken Market, and which in turn succeeded to a portion of the old State Prison of 1797-1829.
