The Ferris House

In the 17th- and 18th-centuries, the Ferris family owned a number of homes in the Throggs Neck area of Westchester, now the Bronx. In a 1915 New York Times article about the Battle of Westchester Creek, this house was reportedly used by a "moving picture firm" as a background for period romance films.
