Newtown - William G. Kouwenhoven House - Rego Park

William G. Kouwenhoven House - n White shingled house on the north side of Old Mill Road (63rd Rd.), between 98th St. and 99th St. (it became 98-23 63rd Road). View of south front facade and west end. Kouwenhoven married Alletta Remsen of Hempstead Swamp and was here 1852, 1860, and 1873. Later was Herman Mueller, a marketman for Vanderveer. In 1923 Herman Werner, Mueller's Son-In-Law, lived here.
