This palatial Greek Revival-style home originally belonged to Henry Brevoort, descendent of Hendrick Van Brevoort, overseer of Harlem and alderman in New York from 1702 to 1713. The home was completed in 1834 and is attributed to architect Alexander Jackson Davis.
