3rd Ave. & 54th St., 6/28/1912

An exterior photograph displaying 3rd Avenue at the intersection of 54th Street, looking toward an unknown direction. Businesses of various kinds line the visible side of the avenue, the most visible being a wine and liquor merchant. A streetcar is traveling toward the right of the image and a parked automobile can be seen near it. The avenue itself is under the tracks of an elevated train line. Several stanchions can be seen, as well as the underside of the track structure. Wooden structures are visible to the left of the image, possibly cordoning off construction. Pedestrians are active on the sidewalk.
