Four-story corner brownstone, with two-sided bay window and pediment over entrance; lamppost and street sign on sidewalk in front of building; adjacent buildings at left and right. Caption: "Another old Eastern District landmark is to be razed to make room for a big improvement to be erected on its site. The building is the fine old dwelling at the southwest corner of Bedford Avenue and Ross street, occupied for the past twelve years by Dr. A. W. Lawrence. . . . The building was occupied for some time by the Nassau Wheelmen as a clubhouse."
