Lexington Avenue, east side, from East 42nd to 43rd Street's, showing the site for the Chrysler Building. To the right is 42nd Street and to the left 43rd. Dpon the latter appears an office structure at the N.E. corner,, several low buildings and St. Agnes R. C. Church. In marly days the Eastern Post Road ran thru hero with its western boundary on tho far side of theexcavation.
