Clearing, 1-7 Christopher Street at the N.W. corner of Greenwich Avenue (right). A new apartment building is to be erected. Nos. 1 to 7 Christopher Street and 3-13 Greenwich Avenue were demolished for its site. No. 15 Greenwich Avenue, an old fourstory brick house, was not carefully shored up when No. 13 was demolished, and conseguently collapsed. For some years following
its site will remain vacant.
