Designed by Renwick, Aspinwall, & Tucker, this seven-story loft building was constructed in 1905 in the neo-Classical style. The building was originally owned by Ida S. Bruch, daughter of William Schlemmer of the notable hardware company Hammacher & Schlemmer.
