This building was originally constructed c. 1837 as a three-story brick rowhouse with a raised basement for Samuel Secor. As of 2012, the brick was painted and refaced with Neo-Grec detailing, which was then refaced with modern cladding. During the mid-20th century, the building housed the Tribal Arts Gallery and Off-Bowery Theater.
