This building was constructed c. 1845-46 for D.L. Schenck. It was likely originally a single-family rowhouse before being refaced in 1929-33 with a Mediterranean-style facade. Go back and click on the tours the building is featured in for additional information and history.

The former building on this site was constructed in 1930 by architect William Shary for W.E. Podesta & L.A. Cuneo. It originally served as a parking garage, but has since been altered and converted to residences.
