Newtown - Tilly House - Glendale

Tilly House - On the north side of Cooper Ave. between 72nd St. and 72nd Place [old No. 7 Cooper Ave., revised No. 2941 Copeland Ave. (Cooper Ave.)]. Pastor Tilly was Minister of the Glendale English Methodist Church for a time. The belfry of the church on current 72nd St. near Central Ave. is visible in the distance to the rear of the house. The house dated to the 1870s.
