View from the IRT Pelham Line (today’s 6 train) station at Morrison Avenue-Soundview, 1933.

The buildings visible at right, the Soundfield Apartments, are on Morrison Avenue, south of Westchester Avenue. The unbuilt lots at left have been converted to baseball fields, abutting the southernmost segment of the Bronx River Parkway, an extension completed in 1951.
