Street-level decking for the construcion of the IND Fulton Line's Court Street station, at Court and Schermerhorn Streets; November 20, 1930.

At right is the German Evangelical Church, a Romanesque structure completed in 1890 to accommodate the City of Brooklyn's growing German population. The church shuttered in 1969 and was demolished in 2006.
