Broadway at White Street.
No 380-382 Broadway, at the northeast corner of White Street, ca. 1912.
The Italianate style white marble corner building was completed in 1860, with its first tenants including a variety of commercial interests related to the Civil War effort (garment and shoe makers, recruiters). In the opening decade of the 1900s, the Cincinnati-based Globe-Wernicke Co., manufacturers of office furniture, became the building's anchor tenant, with advertisements adorning the facade and roof.
Today, the building is home to the offices of several performing arts organizations.
