E.E. Mitchell Mansion, June 6, 1909.

E.E. Mitchell was a lawyer and businessman who once owned a large parcel of land in Flushing. The property included a few large homes including this one. The mansion stood though the first decade of the 20th century, but its date of demolition is unknown. Today two large co-operative developments called Linden Hill Houses and Mitchell Gardens occupy the former land of the estate.
