Parade Ground, Van Cortlandt Park
Parade Ground, Van Cortlandt Park

Van Cortlandt Park, the Bronx, at the ballfields. probably the parade grounds on Broadway north of the Van Cortlandt Mansion. Perhaps Indian Field in Woodlawn before the Deegan bisected the Park.

My grandpa Ray Sr. was a shutterbug, and this is my Dad's neighborhood team. They hailed mostly from the Fordham Road area. It's Grandpa's writing and my Dad, Ray Jr., is the black-haired boy in the second row holding a glove.
