Hobart Street (foreground), at the south east corner of Thirtieth Avenue, showing the Purdy homestead, 1927.
According to the photographer's notes, this home was constructed prior to the Revolutionary War and was still standing in 1927. The home was demolished sometime between 1927 and 1933 when a new complex of 10 six-story buildings called Boulevard Gardens was begun.
