Central Building, 1915.

The Central Building was constructed circa 1890 for the offices of the Central Railroad of New Jersey. The 12-story Romanesque Revival building was only a few short blocks from the ferry terminal used by the Central Railroad of NJ in Manhattan. The building was demolished in 1966 to make way for the construction of the World Trade Center.
