Ocean Parkway Jewish Community Center, August 4, 1927.

The Ocean Parkway Jewish Community Center is a synagogue that was created by the 1924 merger of Congregation of Kensington and West Flatbush Jewish Center. The building, completed between 1924 and 1926, is a Neoclassical structure designed by architects Samuel Malkind and Martyn Weinstein. Originally a Conservative synagogue, the community is now Orthodox.
