"No. 361 Bowery, at the S.E. corner of East 4th Street, is a frame house, 1932."
In 1837, the Federal style wood-frame building at 361 Bowery was occupied by a druggist and a printer, both with the last name Crumbie (perhaps brothers or father and son). By 1841 the building was home to a grocer owned by Abraham Polhemus. Little else is known of the building. Today it no longer stands and has been replaced by a single story building that houses an Irish pub.
