Douglaston Inn, 1927.

The building that was known by various names (Evan's Hotel, Douglaston Inn, North Shore Hotel) was believed to have been built circa 1850. The hotel and restaurant venue was used by various local groups for civic and social events, such as meetings about local schools, a celebration for the founding of the local fire station, and the first service of the nearby St. Anastasia.

The Douglaston Inn, as it was known by the mid 1910s, closed with Prohibition and the structure was torn down in the late 1930s.
