St. Ann's Episcopal Church of Morrisania, circa 1910.
This fieldstone structure is the Bronx's oldest church. Built in 1840-1841, it was financed by New York and Harlem River Railroad executive Gouverneur Morris, Jr. It was donated as a family memorial, and its nearby graveyard is the final resting place of many of the Bronx's most well known colonial families.
