In 1964 the building as drastically altered. Additonal stories were added and the facade was reclad with a white marble broken up by uniform elongated, tinted oval windows. Architectural firm Hausman & Rosenberg created this sleek modern look.

In early 2017 the building's owner and primary tenent, United Overseas Bank, unveiled plans for another reclading of this building, this time (unsurprisingly) in metal and glass.
