Buildings line the avenue, mostly apartment houses, with businesses and what could be a theater occupying some spaces.. Pedestrians can be seen on each side of the street. Streetcars and horsedrawn carriages are traveling along the avenue. There is an elevated railroad station in the background. The avenue is paved with wooden slats at the right and left of streetcar tracks.
