The Gustav Doerschuck (or Doerschuk) House is a Romanesque Revival structure that was completed in 1890 for the brewer Gustav Doerschuck. He was the proprietor of the North American Brewery which operated in Bushwick from 1892 until it was taken over by Schaefer in 1946.

As architectural historians say, it is a grand pile. Rendered in granite and brick the impressive building has a large pyramidal tower, projecting bays, detailed stone trim at the roofline, fancy brickwork on the chimneys, and sweet little eyebrow windows on the front.

Today the building is owned by the Federation of Multicultural Programs, Inc, a social service agency.
