Buildings on the south side of Fulton Street are visible in the background. Until 1940, Hudson Avenue carried the northernmost section of the BMT Fifth Avenue El. Like many blocks near Atlantic Terminal, Hudson Avenue’s tenement buildings and brick warehouses have been replaced by new construction.
