Streetcars on Lexington Avenue, as seen from the northwest corner of 102nd Street, 1931.

Nicknamed "crackup hill" or "Duffy's Hill" for the Tammany Hall Alderman Michael James Duffy, who built rowhouses in the area, this block was the site of frequent traffic accidents.

Visible in the lower-left portion of the frame is the entrance to the 6 train at 103rd Street.
