Newtown - Abraham Furman House - Forest Hills

Abraham Furman House - East side of Yellowstone Blvd. (White Pot Road), just south of Dartmouth St. View looking west, crops in foreground are being watered with sprinklers. The Furman's had this farm in the early 1700ss and at least into the 1870s. The house was torn down between March and August 1925, according to Armbruster & Seyfried, but 1929 real estate atlas still shows it there.
