Hanukkah 1952: Lighting Up City Hall
Story
In November 1952, the young Israeli state, a mere 4-years-old, sent their Minister of Police, Behar Sitreet, on an official fundraising tour. While in New York, Minister Sitreet paid a holiday visit to Mayor Vicent Impeliterri, who was also part of further holiday festivities at Madison Square Garden's massive Hanukkah pageant and fundraiser.
