69 Second Avenue; 89 East 4th Street Building Date : 1887 Original Use : Residential/Commercial Original Owner : August Schaifer Original Architect : Julius Kastner Description & Building Alterations This six story brick, stone, and terra cotta old law tenement was constructed in circa 1887. The Queen Anne style building features projecting window sills in continuous stone bands; elaborate terra cotta spandrel panels; a center window at the third story recessed behind segmental arch with brick pilasters, scrolled keystone, and bracketed crown; bracketed window lintels; terra cotta panels in relief; and bracketed roof cornice.

71 Second Avenue Building Date : 1886 Original Use : Residential/Commercial Original Owner : Benner & Zeller Original Architect : Adam Munch Description & Building Alterations This five story brick, stone, and terra cotta old law tenement was constructed in circa 1886. The Queen Anne style building features cast-iron columns, historic wood and glass transom window at the entryway, paneled piers, molded window lintels, decorative brick and terra cotta spandrels, and wrought-iron fire escape.
