Front of 276 & 278 Bowery - J. Shapiro and World Exchange Silver: Chrystie Street Connection Negative shows front of 276 & 278 Bowery (J. Shapiro Restaurant Supplies and World Exchange Silver) as part of the documentation of the construction of the Chrystie Street Connection (NYCTA). Camera set up in front of building. Photo shows Chas. Lee Laundry, a small tree, and a pedestrian. Original photographic logbook reads: Camera set in front of 276 & 278 Bowery (S. Shapiro\*) (World Silver), showing front of building. \*Logbook got the Shapiro wrong - should have been recorded as J. Shapiro, not S. Shapiro.
