825-833 St. Marks Avenue, 1925. This series of Renaissance Revival rowhouses was constructed circa 1884 and designed by George P. Chappell, who designed many rowhouses and mansions in Crown Heights.The corner building (no. 833), along with its three neighbors, have all had their stoops removed and entrances relocated to the basement level.
