Brooklyn: Flatbush Avenue - Church Avenue

Flatbush Ave., east side, between Church and Snyder Aves. A view of Erasmus Hall Academy built in 1786 at a cost of $6,250. It was incorporated in November 1787 and was transferred to the City of Brooklyn in 1896. The first principal was the Rev. John
H. Livingston.
