\[Union Square Station, 143+03, New York, NY] View of the west side of Union Square by 16th Street. Shows statue of Abraham Lincoln, which was dedicated in 1870. Trolley tracks and trolley pictured on Union Square West. Several businesses, notally one called "Chop Suey," can be seen on the west side of the street. Behind Lincoln's statue are large buildings that house primarily garment industry businesses such as the Manhattan Corset Co., London Buttons, and Union-Made Headlight Overalls & Trousers.

High Pressure Fire Service test at the north end of Union Square from Broadway looking east. The hoses were mounted on two and three legged "supporters" to help the Fire Department. For the tests, three men were assigned to each hose due to the immense pressure. July 12, 1908.
