Manhattan: 7th Avenue - 13th Street (West). Seventh Avenue, at 8W. 13th Street (center) as viewed north eastward from the vacnnt lot on the NeSt side of the Avenue between 12th and 13th Streets. Sere stood the old row of buildings that were familiarly known as the "Rhinelander Flats" and which were recently demolished after several postponements. Note the P.A.L. (Police ithletic League) shack with checker olayers surrounding same which is staffed by W. P. A. employees. Ldildings seen are on the east side of this thorouughfare; View No. 2 emphasizing the 13th to 14th Street block. To the left of this is thhe Netropolitan Tempple at the N.W. correr nf tPe Avenue and 13th Street. Oposite this and the S.W. corner of 14th Street is a large loft and office structure. June 15, 1938.
