Brooklyn: Fulton Street - Elizabeth Place 26 Fulton Street, at the S.W. corner of Elizabeth Place, showing the building in which Hans Bergen carried on a bakery from 1717 to about 1730, in conjunction with a store, and a stable for horses of the residents of the Island when crossing to New York. The stable was a stone building, located, as near as can be ascertained, on the westerly corner of Fulton and Elizabeth Streets.
