[Brooklyn Dodgers Sym-Phony Band outside Madison Square Garden]

Political rally outside Madison Square Garden in Manhattan, with members of Brooklyn Dodgers Sym-Phony Band (two percussionists and trumpeter), man pulling donkey, and participants holding baloons, pictures of Thomas E. Dewey and Earl Warren, and signs reading, "In Brooklyn It's 'Leave Us Do It' with Dewey." Caption: "Anticipating that a donkey would not be attracted to Madision Square Garden last evening, the Brooklyn Democrats for Dewey, having announced their intention of being the first at the Garden to hear the Republican candidate's speech, arrived in the vicinity at noon. Traffic was snarled half an hour before their mascot could be pulled and pushed across 8th Ave., despite the 'soothing harmony' of the accompanying Dodgers Sym-Phony Band."
