Monument to Henry and Elizabeth Ruggles, ca. 1860. The marble base, now weathered from time, bears an inscription from a hymn by eighteenth-century English minister Isaac Watts: "There are no acts of pardon past, In the cold grave to which we haste. But darkness, death and long despair, Reign in eternal silence there.” (Lot 10467, Sec. 121)
