Garret L. Martense mansion, Flatbush Avenue; 1922. This Greek Revival mansion was the home of Judge Garret L. Martense for a portion of the mid 19th century. He was an early landowner in Flatbush. According to the photographic notes the home was razed in 1923. The building which now occupies the northwest corner of Flatbush Avenue and Westbury Court looks to have been built within the decade after the home was taken down, considering its architectural style.
