Manhattan: 57th Street (West) - 6th Avenue

101-123 West 57th Street, at, adjoining and west of the N.W. corner of Sixth Avenue. The buildings are, from right to left: Buckingham Apartments, New Metropolis Club, Steinway Building, and at the left, Calvary Baptist Church. Within a year the church will demolish this building, and erect the sixteen-story Hotel Salisbury, which will house the church and thus become the first skyscraper church.
